Take Two, the parent company of Grand Theft Auto series developer Rockstar Games, has filed for a US trademark for the term "City Stories." The term refers to the subtitle of the two Grand Theft Auto games released for PSP, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
While it's most likely a proactive measure on Take Two's part, there's a chance that the trademark could be referring to another entry in the spin-off series for PS Vita.
In other Grand Theft Auto related news, it was recently revealed that Grand Theft Auto V has sold over 33 million copies to date.
