Today, developer Mojang finally revealed when PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita owners can expect their respective versions of Minecraft.
Let's start with PlayStation 4. According to Mojang, Minecraft on PlayStation 4 "brings significantly bigger worlds and a greater draw distance" than its cousins on PS3 and Vita. "It will include all the features from the most recent PlayStation 3 version." You will be able to bring your save from PS3 or Vita to PS4, but because the PS4 version is bigger, you can't send your saves back.
The PlayStation 4 version of Minecraft is due out in August and will cost $19.99. If you own the PlayStation 3 version, you can "upgrade" to the PS4 version for only $4.99.
