Jackman Wants Another Wolverine-Deadpool Movie

Hugh Jackman has been talking about Deadpool, telling IGN that he’d like Wolverine to have another chance to square off with the character.

The two shared the screen in the 2009 X-Men Origins movie, when Ryan Reynolds played the ‘Merc with a Mouth.’ But that film wasn’t particularly well-received, with fans feeling that it didn’t do the character justice.

And it sounds like Jackman agrees, stating “We sort of took a pretty strong choice on Deadpool, where we kind of stitched him up. And I love the character of Deadpool and I think that the sort of badass, fast-talking, funny, annoying Deadpool vs Wolverine would still be cool. We’ve sort of done it, but I think we could have done that much better.”
