Actor Rory Cochrane (Oculus, Dazed and Confused) is the latest addition to the cast of the Johnny Depp true crime drama Black Mass, which began filming this week in Boston. Depp and Cochrane previously worked together on a different true crime film, 2009's Public Enemies.
Based on the true crime book Black Mass: The True Story of an Unholy Alliance Between the FBI and the Irish Mob by Dick Lehr and Gerard O'Neill, the film recounts the case of Boston crime boss James "Whitey" Bulger, who became an informant for the FBI and is currently one of the Bureau's most wanted fugitives.
