Now we're getting somewhere. Whereas issue #2 was more of a lighthearted galactic romp featuring dogfights and cat vs flerken debates, issue #3 brings us ever closer to the initial events presented in the series' debut. Captain Marvel makes good on her promise to safely deliver Tic to her poisonous home world of Torfa, parting with Starlord and the rest of the Guardians in order to avoid an intergalactic incident. Once there, she soon realizes that not every problem can be fixed by a photon blast, and it's not long before she finds herself embroiled in Torfa's plight.
