In a video interview with Marvel, actress Hayley Atwell recently revealed that ABC's first season order for her Agent Carter series is for eight episodes. You can watch the video below...
"I think over the arc of the eight episodes...," Atwell said casually while talking about the complexities she hopes will surface within the Peggy Carter character. Sure, some thought that the order might be for 13 episodes, but the fact that Agent Carter will serve as a bridge between the two halves of the larger Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season means that it makes more sense for Carter to take up only two months of programming time and not three.
