The poll has closed, the votes have been counted, and the Star Wars character that you’d most like to see return in Episode VII is… Boba Fett.
The intergalactic bounty hunter received nearly a quarter of the 16,000 votes cast in the IGN poll, winning with a whopping 23% share.
Now we know that Boba apparently died in the Sarlacc Pit in Return of the Jedi, but expiration didn’t stop Obi-Wan Kenobi from returning, so why not Fett?
Darth Maul – another pretty dead character – came second, receiving 12% of the votes cast, while Chebacca came third with 11%.
R2-D2 (10%) fared better than his old pal C-3P0 (2%), while Jar Jar Binks – the character Star Wars fans love to hate – managed 5%.
