We are really starting to feel the length of this series. Just when it seemed like things were picking up steam, Tom Strong and the Planet of Peril moves back into “people standing around and talking” territory. Sure, it's well written and absolutely beautiful, but there is a sense of treading water here, like the story is being dragged out for no good reason. Hopefully, things will get tied up soon because what was once a taunt, masterful story has quickly become a slow moving, talky comic series. This is not the Tom Strong we know and love.
