Ambitious Frenchman Napoleon Bonaparte may soon be riding onto the small screen in style.
According to Variety, HBO is in talks to acquire a Steven Spielberg-produced miniseries focusing on the military leader. The series, announced by Spielberg earlier this year, is based on a 1961 Stanley Kubrick screenplay.
Though Spielberg will not direct the miniseries, Deadline reports that Moulin Rouge director Baz Luhrmann is in discussions to take the reins.
