With the Infinite Crisis video game tie-in comic book releasing on May 19, we spoke with writer Dan Abnett about how he’s tackling the comic. The Infinite Crisis game, a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (or MOBA), is currently in Open Beta.
Comic fans will recognize Abnett as co-writer of the much-loved Guardians of the Galaxy comic run with Andy Lanning. Given his penchant for telling epic adventures with a cast of other-worldly characters, there’s little wonder why he was tapped to write this Infinite Crisis comic. It deals with different universes merging together, resulting in appearances of alternate-reality versions of popular characters like Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman.
