Toy Soldiers' Studio Brings Their Free To Play Game to PC

Signal Studios, makers of the Toy Soldiers franchise, are bringing their free to play title Ascend: Hand of Kul to PC.

Community manager for Signal Studios, Becky Taylor, mentioned the arrival on Steam via her Twitter account.

The game, which initially released on Xbox Live in late September of last year, was one of the first XLBA free to play titles. Built on the Toy Soldiers engine, the game is an action RPG where players battle for one of three gods.

Players create their character and pledge their allegiance to one of three gods as a member of a race of giants known as Caos. "Crush your enemies and spread your deity’s influence," Signal Studios writes on the game's Steam page. "Other players will kneel before your rule."
