Now that X-Men: Days of Future Past is finally out -- and a bona fide hit -- we figured it was time to take an accounting of the franchise as a whole. We've got the good, the bad, and the Origins. Let’s rank the X-Men movies!
Spoilers follow for all the films, including Days of Future Past…
Bringing up the rear is X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Hugh Jackman’s first solo outing as the clawed one. Rather than truly dive into Logan’s deep back story, the film is like X-Men Lite -- overstuffed with mutant characters it’s hard to care about, dull, and too divergent from key aspects of the comics. I mean, the mishandling of Deadpool alone is like a capital offense.
