Note: Though this is technically an "advance review" of an episode that will air this coming Sunday, I'm going to go full-spoilery here, since Showtime has made "Séance" available to watch right now over on Showtime Anytime for those who don't want to wait until it airs.
So, with that warning out of the way...
Bravo!
"Séance" may not have had the underground vampire den action set piece of the pilot episode, but it was a much stronger entry thanks to some very surprising, emotional turns. Plus, a pretty rad "Gotcha!" ending that helped throw a much darker shade on Victor than originally inferred.
