NBC is on a bit of a victory lap. While the network still had a lot of work to do (you only have to look at their ratings on Thursday nights for that), they are ending the season looking like they'll probably be the number one network in the desired 18-49-year-old demographic, a truly commendable feat given how horrible the network was doing for so many years.
Thanks to true hits like The Voice and The Blacklist (the biggest new show of the season, on any network - and one that has proven it can hold up without The Voice lead-in, unlike Smash and Revolution), solid programming blocks like the SVU/Chicago Fire/Chicago PD Tuesday night trio and events like The Sound of Music live broadcast, NBC is finally seeing a turnaround many scoffed could never happen.
