Mark Millar is trying a new tactic in his efforts to get his comic books read – the Kick-Ass scribe is sending a copy of his latest book to President Obama and every U.S. Senator in Washington this week.
Inspired while travelling through Detroit on a book tour and observing the financial woes that have hit that city, Millar has written MPH, which revolves around four 19-year-old Detroit kids who stumble across a new street drug that gives them super-speed. But rather than doing battle with super-villains, they use their new-found powers to take down bankers, corporations and crooked politicians.
