Let me preface this news by informing you know that my daughter's going to freakin' flip out.
Universal's live-action Monster High movie, based on the incredibly popular toy line featuring the high-school age sons and daughters of classic Universal movie monsters (Dracula, Wolfman, Creature from the Black Lagoon, etc), has been given an official release date.
The movie, produced by Josh Schwartz (The O.C., Chuck, Gossip Girl) and Stephanie Savage, is slated for 0ctober 7th, 2016. The story centers on teens finding their real identities while figuring out what to do with their secret ones at the secret academy Monster High. Universal has already produced successful animated DVD movies for the toy line, like Ghouls Rule!, Friday Night Frights, and 13 Wishes.
