On paper it can be difficult to figure out precisely who the GRID franchise is aimed at. In no way is it a simulator, and in no way is it what we would typical define as an 'arcade racer'. It straddles the middle ground; bookended on one side by the likes of Forza and Gran Turismo, and on the other by Need for Speed and Motorstorm.
And, yet, as GRID's incredibly devout community, strong sales and lofty review scores demonstrate, a large part of the racing-game-fan demographic is smitten with the approach. Do you fall into that category, though?
