Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon said over the weekend that there's zero chance of the original Mortal Kombat trilogy hitting the Wii U Virtual Console.
Asked by a fan on Twitter about the Super Nintendo originals of Mortal Kombat, Boon replied with the bad news for Wii U owners. "I know this is a long shot but are there any plans
release SNES versions of MK1-3 on Wii U Virtual Console?" questioned the fan. Boon answered with a simple "0.0
."
This may not come as a surprise to Nintendo fans, since Mortal Kombat never came out on the Wii Virtual Console. In addition, Midway Games didn't release any titles for Nintendo's service before shutting down
