CBS is known for stability in their schedule, which isn't shocking given how well they've done for so many years now. However, the schedule for the 2014-2015 TV season will see several changes for the network, some of it due to the addition of Thursday night football games to their line-up for the first few weeks. While those games will no doubt do great for CBS, it also means disrupting a very successful lineup, and most notably The Big Bang Theory, with its monster ratings. While sever shows, including The Millers, Two and a Half Men (just announced as going into its final season), Elementary and the new comedy, The McCarthys, will simply wait until the end of October to premiere, it seemed highly unlikely CBS would begin the fall season without a show as huge as Big Bang.
