Alvin and the Chipmunks are set to return in a film tentatively titled Alvin and the Chipmunks 4. We can bet that’ll change, with the addition of 100% more pun.
According to Toon Zone News, the fourth Chipmunks film has been pushed back to 2016 from its original 2015 release date.
Justin Long (Live Free or Die Hard), Matthew Gray Gubler (Criminal Minds) and Jesse McCartney (Young Justice) are reportedly set to return as Alvin, Simon and Theodore, respectively.
Created by Ross Bagdasarian Sr. for a 1958 novelty record, Alvin and the Chipmunks spawned a popular animated TV series that ran from 1983 to 1990 on NBC.
