After initially indicating that they would, Microsoft's Albert Penello has revealed Xbox One owners will not have access to ad-supported streaming through Xbox Music.
Penello, Microsoft's senior director of product management and planning, was recently asked on Twitter about the ability to stream music through the Xbox Music service on Xbox One without a subscription. He answered this by stating, "
es. You don't have to subscribe, but you will get periodic Ads." He added to that statement with a tweet today which reads, "But don't forget, Xbox Music supports Play-To of all your music directly from your PC."
