Sick of typing in 25-digit codes to redeem games off of Xbox Live? Well, Xbox One is going to be making your life a whole lot easier thanks to Kinect 2 being able to read QR codes in order to grant you access to specific games, products, and services.
Xbox Live's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb posted a Vine on his blog that details just how quick this process takes. Take a for yourself.
Yup, the future is here. It took about five seconds from the point of him saying "Xbox, use a code," to the Kinect picking up your QR code and redeeming whatever it is you want redeemed. Of course, Xbox One will still allow you to punch 25 numbers to get your goodies, so those of you afraid of cameras can put down your pitchforks.
