The Shield has been a hugely successful stable in WWE since they began, whether acting on their own, taking orders from Triple H or, most recently, finally turning from heels into faces. Heading into WrestleMania — and their six-man tag team match against Kane and the New Age Outlaws — I spoke to one of the members, Roman Reigns, about what makes their group work and the past, present and future of The Shield.
Reigns, who is part of an extended family whose huge number of wrestlers include everyone from The Rock to the Usos to Yokoznu to his own father, Sika of The Wild Samoans, also talked about following the family path to becoming a pro wrestler and what it was like seeing the industry from that perspective growing up.
