Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow.
With all of the loose ends from Season 1 wrapped up the narrative for Season 2 feels like it is finally in full swing. “The Voyage of the Damned” gets the ball rolling on new characters, plotlines, alliances and rivalries that will most likely be the main talking points for the rest of the season. There is definitely a new structure to this season as a lot of the characters that shared a common home in Florence and the surrounding area now find themselves separated by both distance and goals. There are about four different plot lines running concurrently by episode’s end, giving this season a slightly different feel than its predecessor.
