The reveal that Ward was Hydra was a great one, but caused a lot of questions in the past week – mainly about whether the SHIELD producers would fully commit to it. Would it turn out he’s actually brainwashed, a la the Winter Soldier, and really a good guy underneath? Would his ties to Coulson’s team cause him to betray Garrett and Hydra? Hell, could we even be 100% sure Agent Hand was dead and that she wasn’t in on some elaborate triple agent scenario to fool Garrett? Or maybe Hand willingly let herself die, so Ward could infiltrate Hydra, like Jon Snow infiltrated the Wildings?
