EA has confirmed that it is transitioning servers so that some games will remain playable after GameSpy's multiplayer services shut down after May 31.
Though the company didn't announce a complete line-up or promise that every game will make the transition, it did commit to three Battlefield games in particular: Battlefield 2, Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 2142.
EA gave word on its Twitter account for Origin, in response to a question that asked specifically about those three games. "We're working on transitioning those games after the shut down so you'll still be able to play them," the company stated.
