It seems the weekly comic book is back in a big way at DC. The publisher kicked off Batman Eternal earlier this month, with Scott Snyder overseeing a team of writers as they explore a yearlong saga of Gotham's destruction. And The New 52: Future's End kicks off next month, where another team of writers explore the state of the DCU five years in the future.
And now it seems we can look forward to a third weekly comic later in 2014. DC is planning a weekly spinoff of its Earth 2 comic called Earth 2: World's End. Daniel H. Wilson will serve as a showrunner of sorts, similar to Snyder's role on Batman Eternal. The book will feature a rotating lineup of artists that includes regular Earth 2 writer Tom Taylor, Worlds' Finest writer Paul Levitz, Marguerite Bennett, and Mike Johnson. The rotating art team will include Eddy Barrows, Jorge Jimenez, Paulo Siqueira, and Tyler Kirkham.
