Batman Eternal is a group effort a la DC Comics' most famous weekly series, 52. From the first issue, it’s clear as to how this new group dynamic will work for this series as contributions from individual writers present themselves throughout the issue. From gadgets, allies, and villains, we can see a team of talented writers working together to bring fans the next chapter in the life of Batman and his supporting characters. The first page of issue #1 presents us with a bewildering sight of Gotham City and Batman himself, but if the dramatic and engaging opening isn’t enough to hook you, then the inciting incidents and the Gordon-centric mystery presented in the rest of the opening chapter will be sure get you intrigued.
