Titanfall will not feature microtransactions, though developer Respawn is still to decide whether a DLC season pass will be available.
It was confirmed on the studio's official Twitter feed, when one fan asked whether or not the hotly-anticipated shooter would feature the divisive payment method.

It was also revealed that the alpha test taking place on Xbox One has now finished, while the likelihood of a beta is still up in the air.
