Devices like the FitBit and the Nike FuelBand may be old news, but according to a new report, Apple could soon enter the fitness tracking space with its long-rumored iWatch and iOS 8. Citing unnamed sources familiar with the projects, 9to5Mac claims a new version of iOS and the fabled iWatch will emphasize fitness and health with sensors that track everything from miles walked to hydration levels and even blood glucose levels. The wrist-bound wearable will be anchored by iOS 8, which will include a new feature called Healthbook, which monitors a user's vitals, provide medication reminders, and more.
