After a string of episodes focused on Penny's latest personal crisis and her renewed focus on becoming an actress, The Big Bang Theory switched gears to an episode that could just as easily have taken place at any point during the past few seasons. The spark of this week's conflict was something most comic book lovers have had to contend with in recent years - the dreaded registration process for San Diego Comic-Con. As ridiculous as it might have looked to see the four guys huddled around their laptops and shouting "Refresh! Refresh! Refresh!' for hours, that's pretty much dead-on. SDCC requires a hell of a lot of effort and a fair amount of luck to score tickets for these days.
