Director David O. Russell, like most of America, can't get enough Jennifer Lawrence.
Deadline reports that Russell is in early talks to adapt the life story of Joy Mangano to film, and he wants Lawrence -- who starred in his previous two films, Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle -- to star.
Joy Mangano, the inventor of the self-wringing Miracle Mop and Huggable Hangars, shot from being a single mother of three working three jobs to Home Shopping Network maven and president of Ingenious Designs, LLC, a company she started and sold to HSN for millions of dollars. She still presents products on HSN's TV channel "with hourly sales topping $1 million." A rags-to-riches story of such ingenuity and tenacity is practically made for Hollywood.
