Since Blizzard's servers went live for World of Warcraft in 2004, 500 million characters have been created by 100 million players. A new infographic breaks down how all of those players spent their time in Azeroth.
WoW players came from 244 different countries and territories, and every continent; even Antarctica. These players belonged to 9 million unique guilds, and favred the character names "The Patient," "Jenkins," and "Assistant Professor." The split between Alliance and Horde characters is almost even, with 52 percent siding with the former, 47 percent with horde and 1 percent staying neutral.
As for daily battles, 900,000 of them are PvE instances and 670,000 are PvP –– pets also joined the fight, with 3.6 million pet fights a day, according to the infographic below.
