HBO knows what Game of Thrones fans want: they want Season Four to hurry up and get here! But since the acceleration of space-time just for a TV show seems unlikely, a new Game of Thrones special will have to do.
On February 9 at 8:45 p.m. (just before True Detective at 9:00), HBO will air Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing. The 15-minute special promises both a look back at seasons one through three and a look ahead to season four, including clips from upcoming episdoes as well as behind-the-scenes footage and cast interviews.
The special also promises to include cast members’ answers to questions posed by fans. It’s only a shame George R. R. Martin isn’t part of the Q&A. I can think of one or two questions I might want him to answer. Well, just one, actually.
