Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will officially launch on April 14.
The news came during a live Letter from the Producer (via Dualshockers), where game director Naoki Yoshida also announced pre-orders were now available.
While we already knew that the game would be launching in April, this is the first time the date has been pinned down. A beta test is scheduled to begin on February 22.
