On January 24, 1984, Apple announced the Macintosh 128K--the first home computer with a mouse and graphics-based user interface. Thirty years later, the Mac has come a long way. And in the hands of countless musicians, developers, and designers, Apple's personal computers have made a significant impact on the world around us.
So, to celebrate the Mac's dirty-thirty, Apple has released a short video with testimonials from various artists.
Apple has also launched a site to commemorate 30 years of Macintosh, featuring a timeline of events which shaped its personal computer hardware.
