Xbox Live Gold will be free for all Xbox 360 players this weekend, so if your free Silver subscription just isn't working out, you can hop online and play multiplayer, access video apps, and more from Friday, October 4 through Sunday, October 6.
Perhaps this is a good opportunity to check out GTA Online if you're curious about GTA 5's multiplayer suite, which released today.
