The postponed network test for Dark Souls II has a new date, with Namco Bandai announcing today that the test will now take place next weekend.
Originally scheduled for this past weekend, Namco Bandai ran into issues with the invite-only PS3 test and was forced to delay it indefinitely. The publisher apologized for the situation and issued a statement which read in part, "We know this is quite disheartening and we thank everyone for their enthusiasm."
A Facebook post has since provided an update with new dates and times for the test: It will begin at 11PM Pacific on November 9 and run until 2AM on November 10 (or 2AM-5AM Eastern on November 10). The post goes on to note that everyone included in previous testing sessions will still be eligible to participate. For those who have not yet gained access, "there is still space to join the next round," according to the post.
