The conclusion of this Sunday's Walking Dead episode, "Isolation," brought with it a big reveal in the form of Carol's confession. Perhaps you'd already pegged Carol as the guilty burner of bodies. I confess that I hadn't until that tension-filled moment with Tyreese. Either way, the cold-blooded murder, even if it was in the name of protecting the community, was quite a turn for that character. At its core, the episode was about how far the group would go to keep that prison community going. Rick was called upon to put down his farmer's hat and once again take on the role of sheriff, leader, and keeper of the peace. Hershel risked his life in the hopes that he could save others. Beth and Maggie put their emotions aside in order to do their jobs, their duty to the whole. Aaaaand Carol committed a double homicide in the hopes of preventing a plague.
