Sony has announced that PlanetSide 2 will arrive on PlayStation 4 in early 2014.
In a video interview with Bloomberg, Sony Online chief John Smedley gave us some insight into when the online shooter MMO will arrive on PS4.
"We’re helping the Sony PlayStation 4 launch on November 15
by releasing DC Universe Online at launch, and we’re following up that early next year with our next game, Planetside 2, on PS4," he said.
Sony first announced that PlanetSide 2 would be making the jump to PS4 alongside DC Universe Online back in June. Since then we've had dribs and drabs of information come out, including the fact that PS4 players won't be able to play with their PC brethren, but you won't need a PS Plus subscription to play either.
