DC's most recent volume of Suicide Squad recently wrapped up in the aftermath of Forever Evil. But the series is only taking a short break before returning in a new form. The aptly titled New Suicide Squad will present a revamped Task Force X. While mainstays like Amanda Waller, Harley Quinn, and Deadshot are pariahs, new recruits like Deathstroke, Joker's Daughter, and Black Manta are basking in their recent victories and looking for an excuse to cause a little bloodshed.
We have an early look at New Suicide Squad #1, which debuts the new creative team of writer Sean Ryan and artist Jeremy Roberts. Look for that issue to hit stores and digital providers on Wednesday, July 9, with a cover price of $2.99.
