Smash Bros. series creator Masahiro Sakura announced that Yoshi would return as a playable character in the upcoming installments for Wii U and 3DS.
Yoshi is the 27th playable brawler added to the Smash Bros. roster, and he has been a part of the series since the Nintendo 64 original.
Nintendo announced a bunch of new information about Smash Bros. for 3DS, Wii U including separate release timings for the two games, that character transformations have been removed, and more.
