EA unveiled earlier today that Bruce Lee is a playable fighter in EA Sports UFC, and now the company is explaining why the martial arts legend is showing up in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game.
Brian Hayes, creative director for EA Sports UFC, gave a simple response as to why Lee is in the mixed martial arts game: "It’s. Bruce. Lee ..." he said on the game's website. "You have the premier organization in the fastest-growing sport in the world, the UFC, and the most iconic martial artist in the history of the world, Bruce Lee — a martial artist renowned for his philosophies that laid the groundwork for modern mixed martial arts. I can’t conceive of a universe where bringing these two things together doesn’t make sense."
