I feel like I should add another spoiler warning to the effect of "Don't look these characters up on Wikipedia if you want to be surprised about what happens." "Who By Fire" cleverly juxtaposed the early struggles of what will become America's first spy ring against the celebration of Guy Fawkes Day. It's a very British celebration and the colony of New York is itself still very British, the American Revolution looking to most like just another failed rebellion. Abe and Anna have helped the Continental Army pull off a surprise victory at the safehouse, but this invites closer scrutiny of Captain Joyce's murder.
