Batman Eternal kicked off with quite the insane start -- Batman uses his robo-suit to punch a plane out of the air, Jim Gordon has been arrested for murder, and, in the future, we see Batman strung up, bloody, and helpless to stop Gotham City from burning to ashes. The Caped Crusader has seen better days.
