Those of you with an intense PC gaming rig should take note: Homeworld will be capable of running in 4K resolution. During Gearbox’s panel at PAX East 2014, company founder Randy Pitchford confirmed that Homeworld Remastered will support in high resolution for those with a PC capable of it.
While discussing the future of Borderlands 2 DLC as well as the newly-announced Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Pitchford also elaborated on how Gearbox’s previous games had been influenced by Homeworld. He cited the player’s ability in Brothers in Arms to stop time, zoom out, and have full control over moving the camera out to the take note of the battlefield was directly inspired by the original Homeworld.
