Hands-On with Garden Warfare's Zomboss Down DLC

The next big update for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is on the way, and it includes a secret subterranean cactus army.

Here's the setup: Dr. Zomboss, the, well, boss of the zombies, receives a communication from his minions that a hidden cactus army is growing beneath the desert. Threatened by this discovery, Zomboss decides to fly his blimp to the desert to investigate. When it's shot down the battle begins, and a new multiplayer arena is born.

Cactus Canyon, the new map, ends with a great Gardens and Graveyards finale (more on that later!), but the most noteworthy addition comes in the form of new character variants: one for each class in both the plant and zombie factions. I went hands-on with all of them, and I'm happy to say that most of them offer new ways to play the now-familiar classes.
