Director of movies both ginormous (The Avengers) and tiny (Much Ado About Nothing), Joss Whedon surprised everyone during Sunday night's Tribeca Film Festival screening of his new supernatural love story, In Your Eyes, by revealing that it was also the world wide release date for the film.
Yes, Whedon has bucked the system and opted to offer In Your Eyes through VOD. It's currently available via Vimeo player over at InYourEyesMovie.com for a $5-per-72-hour rental.
So this isn't even a movie being simultaneously released in theaters and VOD - this is an online only affair.
