Early Access for Final Fantasy 14 on PS4 Starts Today

PS3 players of Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn can now upgrade to the PS4 version for free.

As we reported in February, though FF14 doesn't release on PS4 until April 14, those who upgrade from the PS3 to PS4 version get a three-day jump start on everyone else.

Square Enix community project manager Hergen Thaens detailed, step-by-step, the upgrade process on the PlayStation Blog today:

• First of all, log into the Mog Station using your Square Enix account, visit the account services page, and select the service account that you want to upgrade.
