Blue Manchu has pulled the veil off the first Card Hunter expansion, Attack of the Artifacts.
The expansion comes loaded with new content including six new campaign adventures divided into two difficulty groups: moderate difficulty for mid-level characters and harder difficulty for the grizzled veterans.
At the end of those adventures are brand new epic items, the eponymous, self-aware artifacts. These new weapons and items carry powerful new abilities, like "punishing" attacks, which deal additional damage for every card in your target's hand.
To really sell the new vibe of the expansion, new character figurines for every race/class combination will be made available sporting a decidedly Aztec-ish aesthetic.
